December Partner Spotlight: Justice Paxson, Principal, BRCI
December 8, 2020
Thanks for tuning in to our partner blog series — we’re nominating outstanding Identiv partners and shining the spotlight on their successes and what inspires them.
This month, we’re featuring Justice Paxson, Principal,
BRCI. We recently chatted with Justice to find out more about BRCI, his personal interests, and more.
BRCI was founded in 2010 as a small HUBZone business with a mission to help government and commercial businesses with the design and installation supporting state-of-the-art security solutions. Our systems are used worldwide to safeguard lives, material assets, and mission objectives. While Justice’s involvement with Identiv initially began about 18 years ago as a contractor for the FBI, BRCI has worked with Identiv since 2019, with Identiv’s access control products being the company’s biggest seller.
When asked which success has most contributed to who the company is today, Justice mentions that two years ago, the company invested into a technology center and lab dedicated to our technical engineers and technicians. This helped facilitate their training and ensure their knowledge and processes are kept up to par. These additional testing and training resources are the “secret sauce” of BRCI today that helped the company navigate its growing pains, as well as freeing up resources for BRCI to give back to the community with charitable contributions. BRCI donates to
Unified Solutions Tribal Community Development Group, which supports American Indian and Alaska Native Tribal communities in developing and maintaining direct service programs for victims of crime.
So, what gets Justice out of bed in the morning?
In addition to his work, Justice’s loves spending time on the water fishing in the Chesapeake Bay, and spending time with his two boys, wife, and a very energetic golden retriever are some of his biggest motivators. If you see him with his headphones on, you can bet he’s rocking out to some classic 90’s like Guns N’ Roses or Led Zeppelin. Before wrapping up our interview, Justice hit us with this fun fact: as a young child, he wanted to be a pilot when he grew up; since his career went in another direction, he can, sadly, only enjoy planes as a passenger.
As we head into 2021 and the need for integrated security and identity systems becomes more imperative than ever post-pandemic, we depend on our partners like Justice and BRCI to help us provide innovative solutions around the world.
